Zhu Derun (朱德润, 1294-1365), a painter and poet in the Yuan dynasty, originated from Suiyang, Jiangsu Province. He held a post in the Hanlin Academy at the recommendation of Zhao Mengfu and later taught Confucianism in Manchuria. He specialised in landscape painting, influenced by Li Cheng and Guo Xi in the Northern Song (10th-12th century), as well as Zhao Mengfu.
