Wen Shu

Wen Shu (文俶 1595-1634) was a female painter in the Ming dynasty, she was a descendant of the famous Ming painter Wen Zhengming. She lived a secluded life with her husband, Zhao Junling, who was also from an artistic family. 

Wen Shu painted mainly flowers, plants, and insects. Her works were executed in very fine brushes with an elegant style.
